3 days, Attempted Cartwheel

13 Apr

Three days left of classes.

I have 2 one-on-ones so far with two instructors, I’m expecting a third as well. One I’m a bit terrified of, the others not so much. I’m nearly done everything, I’m not sure I’ll be able to finish Thursdays month long thing but I figured that would happen. Cross stitching a 6×7 inch piece in under a month with all the other things going on is a bit of a miracle. Still unsure about presentation but that will come, maybe.

It’s snowing here in Calgary. Which is pretty good, we need the moisture that’s for sure. Very dry spring so far and we’re already well into a 7 year drought.

Not much going down school or life wise. For those interested I may be heading back to Edmonton this summer after all. I sent off a resume for a photo retoucher position at some company, so we will see where that takes us. Seems to be decent cash as well, not that it’s the main thing but it is important.

Side note: I’m sad Banksy is such a sell out. He was cool but now he’s like the new Damien Hirst and I don’t even know what the hell he looks like.

On a more happy note, here is Stephen Merchant attempting a cartwheel. Is it more funny when 6’7″ tall people do a cartwheel?
Yep.

Heading back to e-town over the summer? I thought you where going to kick it with the grandparents. Oh well this only means a small 3hr delay to our road trip to Vulcan.

The job I applied for has been filled already so no Edmonton at this second. Vulcan is still a go! By the way, if I’m in Edmonton you’re always welcome.
